The chairman of the Massachusetts Medical Device Industry Council said it is trying to line up meetings with members of the Massachusetts congressional delegation to discuss the tax, which industry officials say will cut jobs and force firms to move operations overseas. A new minimally invasive surgery to correct a chest wall deformity, often known as pigeon chest, was recently demonstrated.
