Barbed Injection Sites

These latex-free injection sites with barbs are available in non-slit (Part # 11456) or pre-slit versions (Part # 11194) and measure 1-1/2 inches in length. The barb is designed for maximum tensile strength on tubing with IDs of 1/16 inch. There are no parting lines on the sealing surface of the barb, minimizing potential leaks. The polyisoprene septum is press-fitted into the white isoplast site holder and then into the polypropylene body. This process is free from additives or chemical adhesives. Polypropylene offers good chemical resistance, and the latex-free septum reduces the risk of allergic reactions.
