Electrosurgical Unit for Transurethral Resection
The AUTOCON® II 400 electrosurgical unit (ESU) is equipped for both bipolar and monopolar output, allowing surgeons to perform transurethral resection in either mode. The specially modulated C-Cut modes result in less bleeding and provide reproducible coagulation current and high cutting efficiency, reducing the need for subsequent coagulation. Using the monopolar C-Cut or bipolar Saline-C-Cut modes for transurethral resection of the prostate can reduce the need for transfusions and save surgery time, helping to minimize the risk of TUR syndrome for urology patients.
