Diagnostic Ultrasound Training System

The F.A.S.T. Module for SONORIO is a diagnostic ultrasound training system that allows students to learn the basics of a F.A.S.T. (Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma) Exam without the need for expensive equipment and live patients. By placing a simulated ultrasound probe on one of the exam windows, real ultrasound images (photos and video) are generated randomly of both normal and abnormal patients. The system's software allows any PC to simulate an ultrasound machine and the Body Form Skin is embedded with targets for each of the F.A.S.T. viewing windows.
