The BOSS Minimally Invasive Port Retractor System from BOSS INSTRUMENTS helps to increase exposure in microscope-aided spine surgery with minimal stress and wound management for the patient. According to the company, system features include:

  • A retractor portion (table post, flexible arm, dilator and tubular retractors) that is 100 percent titanium, which provides a greater strength-to-weight ratio and is more corrosion resistant than stainless steel.
  • The ability to be non-magnetic and less reflective in 3D imaging systems due to the use of titanium.
