Tamper-Resistant TR2 Alarm

AliMed releases its new version of the popular TR2 tamper-resistant alarm with the added benefit of a silent setting, so it doesn’t disturb other residents. Unlike other bedside fall alarms, the caregiver can simply switch the alarm to a silent mode and plug it into the nurse call system. A simple cable connection means the nurse call buzzer is still usable, but the alarm alerts through the same cable to the nursing station. According to the company, features include:

• A switch to alert the caregiver is located under the battery door so residents can’t deliberately switch it to silent.
• Tamper resistance andhas no ON/OFF switch.
• All concealed controls.
• A ‘lock-n-load’ cable slide retainer so patients won’t tamper with it and caregivers cannot forget to switch it on.”
