Parker Laboratories has announced Protex disinfectant spray and wipes, a one step disinfectant designed to be effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens, including Influenza Type A (H1N1), MRSA, HIV, Staph, and many others. Protex can be utilized for disinfecting ultrasound transducers, probes, mammography compressor plates and other hard nonporous, non-critical surfaces. Protex is available in a 12 ounce pump and a 32 ounce trigger spray, wipes, Softpack and canister.
