Smith & Nephew Endoscopy introduces the BICEPTOR Tenodesis System to treat injuries to the biceps tendon in the shoulder. According to the company, the system is the first that enables surgeons to re-attach the biceps tendon to the humerus, or upper arm bone, using an all-arthroscopic technique.

The TrueView Direct autoclavable camera system features a single-hand control of all user interfaces, allowing the scope holding hand full control over image rotation by +/- 180 degrees, all three remote switches and even both stopcocks. This helps to make arthroscopy seamless as the other hand can now remain on the shaver or ablation device throughout the entire case.
