Berchtold’s BRITe™ lighting technology produces 50 percent more usable light, with no increase in heat. A 150-watt coated bulb design recycles unwanted IR energy, turning it into useful light. When combined with custom color-correction filters and the company’s polygon reflector, this system delivers uniformly brilliant (up to 160K lux), penetrating, and shadow-free lighting for both large-surface and deep cavity procedures, while maintaining the natural color temperature (4300 Kelvin) for which the CHROMOPHARE® Surgical Lighting series has long been known.
