PassPort Trocars

Patton Surgical has developed the PassPort®--a double-shielded trocar designed to enhance patient safety by eliminating the risk of injury during laparoscopic surgery. In laparoscopic procedures performed with conventional trocar designs, the most serious complications—and the most likely to result in death—are patient hemorrhages due to vessel injury and/or infection secondary to bowel injury.
