EZC Medical recently released two new airway management product to improve visualization during intubation. The Intubaid, is a simple stylet that enables providers to see during endotracheal intubations. The Intubaid fits within most endotracheal tubes and laryngeal masks to provide video-assisted visualization of the laryngeal inlet. Along with the Intubaid, the EZC offers the LaryngaSee, a laryngeal mask that enables visualization during laryngoscopy. A laryngeal mask is frequently used in situations where a full endotracheal intubation is not required, for example, when a patient is allowed to breathe spontaneously and muscle relaxation is not required. Both the Intubaid and the LaryngaSee can be plugged into any standard monitor or PC, and can also be used with the Company’s iPod-like handheld monitor.
