VTI offers the new Flexible Drop-In Doppler probe for use in laparoscopic and robotic procedures for positive identification of vasculature. During laparoscopic procedures the probe is manipulated by the surgeon using a standard grasper, while in robotic surgery, the console surgeon directly manipulates the VTI Flexible Drop-In Doppler via a robotic arm. Because of its slim profile, it can share the operative port and be parked off to the side, out of field of vision, until the surgeon needs it. Unlike intraoperative ultrasound, the VTI Flexible Drop-In Doppler fits into small spaces and provides precise, pinpoint localization of the vasculature.
