Diagnostic Wall units

Fri, 06/10/2005 - 10:36am

LISTED UNDER:

Keeler has launched two new diagnostic wall units for use in hospital wards, surgeries, and casualty departments. Fitted with lockable heads and handle fittings, they are designed to hold hand-held diagnostic instruments securely in place. Both models feature a Practitioner ophthalmoscope with a lens range of +40D to -25D; a fiberoptic otoscope; and a Dispos-a-Spec fitted with disposable specula in four size ranges: 2.5mm, 3.5mm, 4.5mm and 5.5mm (25 of each). Depending on the model, the units also feature either an Accoson Aneroid sphygmomanometer, accurate to BSEN1060-1, or an Accoson Greenlight 300 electronic sphygmomanometer. The wall units are connected to the mains power supply and illumination of the ophthalmoscope or otoscope is automatic as soon as the instrument is removed from its cradle. A strong, coiled, tangle-free cable allows the instruments to be used up to three meters away.
