The multi-function LigaSure™ V sealer/divider instrument dissects, grasps, seals, and divides vessels up to and including 7.0 mm in diameter. Valleylab’s patented vessel sealing technology reforms the collagen in vessel walls and connective tissue into a permanent seal. The LigaSure V minimizes thermal spread to approximately 1.5 mm, eliminates the need for a footswitch, and reduces the number of instrument exchanges in the OR.
