The Cassi II automated, rotational biopsy system utilizes patented Stick-Freeze™ technology to immobilize lesions and extract large, intact, and contiguous tissue samples. The portable, self-contained, multiple-use Cassi II makes breast biopsies minimally-invasive, in-office procedures requiring only local anesthesia. Sanarus plans to offer additional sizes and types of needles for use with the Cassi II device to accommodate a variety of biopsy procedures.
