The MAQUET MIS Hip Attachment enhances the functionality of the MAQUET surgical table by making it possible to perform minimally invasive total hip replacement with greater surgical access. This new positioning device helps speed recovery times by enabling surgeons to make an incision of only two to three inches compared with incision lengths of eight to 10 inches typically required for a hip operation. In addition, the attachment’s carbon-fiber radiolucent traction bar and pelvis plate permits unobstructed imaging of the lower extremities.
