The newly designed MD-2000 Electro-Magnetic Surgical Instrument Detection System can pinpoint and detect surgical instruments lost in soiled linen and waste bags. Bags are scanned manually or with an EZ-Glide Bag Scanner between two parallel detection panels. An audible and visual alarm signals a detection. Targeted instruments are safely and easily retrieved using a magnetic retrieval probe or needle resistant glove.
