GUS® Vapor Control Systems soak transvaginal and transrectal ultrasound probes. Vapors from Glutaraldehyde and OPA are captured and clean air is returned to the room, removing the need for expensive ductwork. These patented systems protect staff from exposure to high-level disinfectants and meet OSHA and JCAHO requirements. One or two probes are suspended in the soak containers, protecting the delicate tips from damage. Another container is used for the initial rinse water. The soak containers use only one quart of disinfectant and prevent splashes and spills.
