Instuments for Breast Endoscopy

The MammoView instrument line for breast endoscopy produces clear and precise video images, allowing direct observation of extremely confined sites such as the lining of the mammary ducts. The system includes a retractable dilator in a sheaf that gently opens the ductal orifice at the nipple. When the sheath has been inserted into the mammary duct, the dilator is withdrawn leaving the sheath in position. Irrigation or visualization optics can then be introduced into the mammary duct via the introduced cannula allowing physicians to perform a variety of intraductal procedures with minimal or no discomfort for patients. Images can be captured in a variety of formats using its DIS2000 technology for consultation and comparison.
