Panasonic has expanded its line of HD camera and recording systems designed specifically for medical applications with the introduction of the 32-inch EJ-MLA32U-W and 37-inch EJ-MLA37UJ-W HD LCD Displays. The new units offer advanced technology and a host of features to meet the most demanding medical imaging requirements.
The HD LCD displays feature several viewing options including side-by-side display of two high definition, vivid medical images, with independent adjust of each; three simultaneous screen displays (e.g. surgical image, vital signs, etc.); and a user selectable picture-in-picture option. The image can be reversed or inverted to accommodate various orientations.
Each of the viewing options is enhanced with Panasonic’s In-Plane-Switching Technology (IPS-Pro) which provides excellent color images with a very high contrast ratio, from almost all viewing angles. The advanced IPS-Pro technology eliminates the conventional restrictions of LCD displays and delivers significant improvement, including a wider viewing angle of 178° vertical and 178°horizontal, a superior contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a brightness level of 400cd/m2. To further ensure color accuracy, the 1920 x 1080 pixel screen image (16:9 aspect ratio) is designed to display up to 16.77 million colors.
