Evacuated Hospital Patients

Mon, 03/14/2011 - 6:42am

Futaba Kosei Hospital patients are treated at Fukushima Gender Equality Center in Nihonmatsu, Fukushima Prefecture, northeastern Japan, Sunday morning, March 13, 2011 after being evacuated from the troubled Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear complex in Futaba town. They might have been exposed to radiation while waiting for evacuation when an explosion of Unit 1 reactor of the complex blew off the top part of its walls on Saturday, one day after a strong earthquake and tsunami hit northeastern Japan.
