It provides vendor-neutral solutions, easy to use software and simple touchscreen control over multi-source video and data.
The nStream+® HD comprehensive high definition/standard definition (HD/SD) video recording system records full 1080i (1920 x 1080) HD and SD digital video and captures up to two megapixel still images. The system includes native DICOM® compliance, integrated video editing and side by side video comparison.
The Ultra Pro Ultrasound Table can be used for all general ultrasound procedures including OB/GYN. Ergonomically designed to suit both the patient and sonographer, the table provides safety and comfort to provide the best image possible. There are no barriers between sonographer and patient, allowing correct scanning posture to prevent musculoskeletal injury.
The Arlink 8000 Modular Workstation System is ergonomically designed to offer unlimited flexibility to accommodate changing or future needs. Ideal for a variety of applications, such as labs, SMT assembly, computing environments, research and technical work, these workstations can be assembled and reconfigured faster than other standard workstations, saving time and money.
The TURBO elite excimer laser ablation system vaporizes lipid-based, calcified and fibrotic plaque as well as neointimal hyperplasia. Further, it incorporates all of the features of the TURBO product line, including 80 hertz laser repetition rates, "continuous on" lasing and a hydrophilic coating.
This ProTechrange of perforated sterilization baskets is made with a strong stainless steel frame and is constructed to last a lifetime. The perforated design ensures maximum steam penetration but limits the chance for delicate instrument points to become damaged. There are 13 DIN-sized trays available for compatibility with closed containers and automated instrument washers.
The XLS-300 300-Watt elliptical xenon lamp maximizes visualization with the high-powered illumination. It provides constant color temperature for accurate color reproduction. The evenly distributed beam profile reduces shadows and hot spots, while the high-intensity, 2000 lumen light output delivers brighter, more accurate images.
RF-Detect is a patented surgical disposable detection system for surgical gauze, towels and sponges. A sterile radio frequency chip, (the size of a grain of rice) is embedded in the surgical disposables. With the RF Detect system, a patented Blair-Port wand is waved over the patient accurately alerting the user when an RF-tagged surgical disposable remains in the patient before surgical closing procedures.
The high-definition IP-based IPELA® visual communications system broadcasts intricate procedures from the Operating Room to conference attendees in full HD resolution at 1080i over a standard Ethernet connection. The HD technology allows physicians to remotely share images at levels of precise detail, clarity and resolution not possible with standard definition, from individual blood vessels in a surgical video to the granular details of a pathology slide.
This synthetic soft tissue model features anatomically correct landmarks, allowing surgeons to practice minimally invasive techniques for the management of common bile duct stones including ERCP. Procedures are completed on replaceable tissues including gallbladder, cystic duct, hepatic duct, common bile duct, fundis, greater and lesser omentum, duodenum, and jejunum.
Proper patient positioning prior to and during surgical procedures is very important. Unfortunately, getting the patient into the appropriate position is not without its problems and risks. Often, configuring and maintaining the patient’s body position throughout the course of an operation requires table articulations and the use of positioning aids, which may need to be adjusted from time to time.
Even in the hands of the most experienced and skillful surgeon, a scalpel is still a dangerous piece of equipment—a razor sharp steel blade sticking out from a slender and occasionally slippery handle. As careful as the surgeon or OR nurse may be, given the frequency that scalpels are used in surgery, the risk of an injury and possibly infection from a used or dirty blade is quite pervasive.
Booth # 107 The AQUAGEL Pressure Management System is a unique line of surgical patient positioning devices that are the result of in-depth research. The AQUAGEL system features a dual-layer technology that reduces patient skin shear, one of the key causes of OR-induced decubitus ulcers.
Booth # 607 Automated Medical Products designed and developed the first Articulating Dissector to place a Lap Band® around the esophageal junction with the stomach. They introduced Nathanson Hooks Liver Retractors to the United States for use during laparoscopic procedures. Automated Medical offers the Iron Intern® retractor holder, available in a single and a double arm.
