The Bard® SepraMesh® IP Composite is built on the foundation of proven Sepra® adhesion barrier technology. It combines the strength of polypropylene mesh with a bioresorbable hydrogel coating for ventral hernia repair. This integrated design delivers safety, strength and ease of use. Bard SepraMesh IP has bioresorbable fibers which reinforce mesh strength and bind the mesh to the hydrogel coating. During incorporation of mesh into the abdominal wall, these fibers and the hydrogel coating are resorbed, leaving less permanent foreign material in the patient.
