Gore launches GORE BIO-A Fistula Plug, the next generation of anal fistula repair. According to the company, the plug features:

• Engineering to conform to the anal fistula tract, reducing the potential for failure due to fall-out.
• An expandable 3D structure of bundled hollow tubes that attach to a circular head, a single plug configuration can be customized to fit most fistula shapes and sizes. 
• A proven, 100 percent synthetic bioabsorbable scaffold facilitating tissue generation and healing.
