During surgery, anesthesiologists typically sit behind the “ether screen” (aka “blood-brain barrier,” where the blood is the surgeon and the brain is an anesthesiologist). Now a new device helps attach the screen so it moves along with the bed, provides support for equipment, and has clear access to the patient.
